Unprecedented times need unprecedented kindness. Giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference. The Social Entrepreneurship Programs always provide the opportunities to students for exploring communities and addressing certain issues. The basic purpose of this program is to provide training and empower them for a social change that leads to societal well-being. As a consequence of this pandemic of corona virus “ESAAR CAMPAIGN” of Alkhidmat and Superior Group has been initiated with the collaboration of CMACED Social Entrepreneurship Program. Our partners for this virtuous/ patrician cause are ShakarGanj & Drinkly.

The mission is to arrange and distribute food packages for one lac poor families in this health emergency of COVID-19. We name this food package a “SMILE BASKET” Because charity efforts are for happiness and in times like chaos, we all have to let our kindness spread like wildfire. This basket contains all the necessity items of grossary a family needs for a month. We already distributed it in the 500+ families which worth’s Rs 2million PKR and it’s all donated by Superior Group. It is an open forum for volunteers, students from all over the country can join in “ESAAR CAMPAIGN” and we requisite you to help us lifting the lives of such privileged families and prove that we are together to fight against this deadly virus. Not only this, we are the contributor of Punjab Youth Council`s initiative and Mr. Muneeb Ahmad The General Manager of CMACED, is one of the Executive members in supervising, implementing and monitoring the social activities all over Punjab. Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Center for Entrepreneurship Development (CMACED) is a university-wide initiative with a mission to build an entrepreneurial mindset and prepare the youths to bring economic revolution in Pakistan through small and medium enterprises. CMACED equips the students with confidence, knowledge and tools to turn a business idea into a flourishing reality.

According to the World Food Programme, 43% of Pakistan’s population faces food insecurity. Of this number, 18% of people in Pakistan severely lack access to food. Pakistan is one of those countries where we requisitely need social entrepreneurs. There are various national and international social enterprises who are working on societal development. However, formal academic efforts to train young generation are of pivotal importance to bring productive outcomes because we have to instill the minds of young generation with the importance of charity and its power. Charity can be anything whether it’s a monetary help. Or just smiling whether it’s clearing the pathways or praying for others because Greatness is not what you have, it’s what you give.

The Social Entrepreneurship Program is adding value & creating hope in the society. This program is meant to empower Pakistani youth with indigenous education and training program to create a social change through community outreach initiatives that ultimately lead towards a prosperous Pakistan. The impact of Social Entrepreneurship Program can be accessed through following factors, it has 15 Departments, 40 Classes, 38 Faculty Members, 288 Social Action Projects, 72 Million Project Funding and 1547 Active Citizens.
